Amal Charabati is a Lebanese-American designer. Her journey into the creative world began at a young age as she grew up surrounded by her mother’s designs crafted by local artisans. Her brand, ‘Amal soulfully handcrafted’, is an eco-friendly line using ethically sourced and sustainable material. Her business name reflects her creations; straightforwardness and simplicity are the key to her aesthetic. Creativity was always a part of her life as she grew up around artisans and textiles. This, in turn, has fueled her passion for keeping the handmade tradition alive.

Amal’s goal is to create simple designs that combine her ancestors; ancient heritage with a modern, comfortable-to-wear outlook. Her love of traveling helped her develop a fashion that can be worn globally, incorporating various high-quality textiles representing different cultures. A rainbow of colors and patchwork catered to satisfy various tastes.

Her creations are versatile due to their modernized style and can be enjoyed both day and night. Each piece is unique, handcrafted with care and precision by talented artisans in their individualized workshops. Materials used range from raw silk, crepe to velvet, cotton, organza, chiffon, linen, embroidery, and various delicate and unique organic hand block print fabrics. She also features timeless and exceptional loom woven pieces. All designs can be dressed up or down and worn with flats to heels.
